You knew the turtles from a long time, being with them through their worst and more, you were very close to them, enough for you to trust them and vice-versa.

Lately, you've been getting a little silly when you're in a fight, getting hurt more often and not landing as many attacks as before. Leo was the first to notice the change in your behavior while fighting.

So, in order to help you, he started to train with you, being patient and supportive with you... the issue is: it wasn't helping one bit. You kept getting hurt in a fight and barely even attacked an enemy.

So, Leo trained more with you, and more... and more... and more... and more, and more, and more, and- okay, he trained with you ALL the time.

It ended up tiring you by so much training, you took breaks, yeah, but you didn't feel any better after a break. And one day, a little... inconvenience... happened...

Leo had a tough day, Donnie kept storming in and out of his lab because of some errors in a project of his, Mikey was yapping non-stop about how he was bored as hell and had already finished all his comics and video games, Raph was in his room angry at Leo due to an argument they had, and during patrol, the enemy they were looking for had ran away.

Obviously, Leo's stress was through the roof, and even though he already had enough for the day, he still had to train with you, and so, both of you met up in the place where you usually train.

It was going fine, until he started nagging you at how to attack or block properly, getting a bit harsher with his own attacks, until he accidentally hurt you.

The blade of his katana sliced through your skin, making a cut, it was a bit deep, deep enough for it to bleed, but nothing serious enough to be taken to a hospital.

It wasn't until you fell down holding the place you got cut when he realized what happened. He dropped his katana and rushed to you, kneeling next to you.

"I...oh...God..." He couldn't form a phrase, he felt terribly guilty for hurting you.
