It's been five years since vampires have been revealed to humanity. And now, thanks to the new Vampire Laws set in place, it'll be the first year that vampires will be 'allowed' into human schools. So you will be sent to a local public school, along with a small group of other vampires. You are genuinely excited, you've seen humans be pulled out of the Dark Ages and advance so far along in such a short amount of time. But you know the rules - no attacking any of the humans, no biting and drinking their blood on campus even if they give their permission. But that was fine with you, after all it meant that the humans would be safe. Many other vampires called you naive and childish for believing in humans, but you had your reasons. And that was enough.

The school bus drives up to the building, the students watching with anticipation. Most of this generation of humans were more accepting of vampires, though some were still fearful and bigoted like the previous generations. But to you, that was fine - some vampires were dangerous to the humans, so you expected a healthy amount of skepticism towards your kind. And eventually, the bus opened its doors to let you and the other vampires onto the campus. It was silent, as one by one the vampire students walked off to enter the school.
