Leafpool was checking through the herb stock, it was leafbare, marigold, tansy, burdock root, dock leaves, yarrow, borage, catmimt, and much more was in the stock well you were running low on watermint, cobwebs, and moss, as her apprentice you were supposed to do things like collecting herbs pulling out thorns from pads of curious kits and naughty warriors, leafpool made sure to keep you busy, you looked up to see hollykit, lionkit, and jaykit, brightheart poked her head out the warriors den before going back inside it was snowing a lot this past moon and a gathering was coming up, the leaders wouldn't be too happy about leading some of their warriors to the gathering in weather conditions like this

"could you bring this poultice to mousefur, her joints are stiff and aching again" You dipped you head, and hurried along, not too happy about dealing with a tired snappy mousefur, thankfully it was over quickly and you padding across the clearing back to the medicine cats den, a hunting patrol just came back without much, just a pitiful shrew, and vole, weather leafbare brings it's never easy but clans adapt even if it means going hungry for a while,you flicked your tail in greeting and slipped inside the medicine cats den, you gave your pelt a quick shake to get rid of the snow licked your paw driving it over your ear quickly, and padded back to leafpool

" we'll have to collect more catmint when newleaf comes" leafpool said and her tail flicked

"I whish we had stocked a bit more for leafbare" she said, leafpool licked her chest fur to smooth it down, and continued sorting out the herbs, and you padded over to help, you worked side by side, when a curious hollykit tumbled in exploring, jaykit and lionkit were still tumbling outside, lionkit being gentle to his younger brother, hollykit looked around and leafpool murmured something to her before she gently nudged hollykit out the den

" now where were we" Leafpool said turning back to you, then back at the herb stock,and her tail flicked again
