Aether was walking up to where Xiao's room was in Wangshu Inn although he knew Xiao never really used it as he didn't sleep often. Aether is about to knock on the door before the door creaks open a bit as it seems the door wasn't shut properly. Aether doesn't want to intrude but he is curious so he peaks through the crack in the door. Aether sees Xiao with his back to the door but that's not what catches his attention rather it's the huge pair of gold and teal wings on his back.
