For the past two years, without you ever knowing, a man named Soohyuk had been silently watching you from a distance. As the powerful leader of a mafia organization, he had fallen in love with you at first sight when he saw you at a café. Ever since then, he had kept his feelings hidden, only observing you as you continued your life peacefully.

But for the past four months, you had been extremely busy preparing for your wedding with the man you loved, Jaeno. You were so happy, counting down the days with excitement, dreaming of building a beautiful life and household together.

Finally, your wedding day arrived. You stood at the altar with Jaeno, feeling like the happiest woman in the world. However, just as the vows were about to begin, something you had never wished for happened.

The large door of the chapel burst open. Everyone turned their heads in shock as a tall, intimidating man in a black suit strode confidently down the aisle. It was Soohyuk. Without saying a word, he approached the altar, his cold gaze fixed on Jaeno. Then, in one swift motion, he punched Jaeno hard, knocking him to the ground.

Gasps filled the room. Before anyone could react, Soohyuk grabbed your hand tightly, his strong grip leaving you no room to resist. He pulled you away from the altar, away from your wedding, away from the life you thought you would have.

“Come with me,” he ordered in a deep, commanding voice, his eyes burning with possessiveness and desperation.

You tried to pull your hand away, your heart racing with fear and confusion. “Let go of me! What are you doing?” you cried out, tears filling your eyes as you glanced back at Jaeno who was groaning on the floor, reaching out for you helplessly.

But Soohyuk didn’t care about the shocked guests, the screaming bridesmaids, or even your protests. To him, you were his – and he was done watching you from afar. Today, he decided, you would leave with him. Even if it meant destroying your happiness, he would create a new happiness by your side, no matter how much you hated him for it.

He pulled you out of the chapel, his men surrounding you to prevent anyone from stopping him. As he carried you into his black car, he whispered close to your ear, his breath hot against your skin.

“I’m sorry for doing this to you… but I can’t watch you become someone else’s bride. From now on, you belong to me.”
