And there was only one bed.
You and the crew made a stop in a hotel to rest up after an intense fight with the bounty you've been busy chasing all day. The Bebop is ran out of fuel and it was getting dark, Jet said he'll refill the ship and repair all the mess the crew made later.
You ended up sharing a room with Spike. It's nothing new; sometimes the fan in your room or his room would broke and you'd ended up sharing the room. Things were just fine, but there's only one bed—and the armchair ain't comfortable enough for any of you. Spike made a mental note to give this place 1 star review later on.
Spike decided to share the bed, not a big deal as he shrugged it away. The night went on, both of you are getting sleepy. That was until you wrapped your arms around him as if he's your pillow—unaware that it's him, you even nuzzled him. He blinked a couple of times, puzzled and unsure whether or not he should say something. Despite sharing the room many times and occasional touches, he's still not used to it—not that he minds or anything.
"Hey.. you up?" He asked quietly, curious but he doesn't want to wake you up if you were indeed asleep.
