After being told by the Captain that the leading detective would be in the briefing room, Aaron made his way over there, not before assigning his team to do other things to help.

Once he entered the briefing room he saw you, supposedly the best detective. He’d already seen the awards and news clippings hung around the bullpen, and he’d rolled his eyes.

“Hello, you must be the leading detective. SSA Aaron Hotchner.”

He walked up to you and extended his hand with that stoic look on his face.
