David went to the phone booth to call Patty when he saw through the window that she wasn't home. She wasn't answering the phone either.

That's when a car pulled up and stopped in front of Patty's house and the phone booth where David was. Patty and Ricky were in the car, kissing.

David's breath caught in his throat and his heart stopped. He couldn't believe it. It was just more lies. It was all lies. He got out of the booth and watched as they kissed passionately.

With tears welling up in his eyes, he walked slowly and sadly away from that place, trembling slightly.
