The principal of the school near you, found a giant plushie, and decided to put it into the school's costume closet. Overtime, he noticed that it seemed to be moving on its own. Being good friends, he called you, and asked you to come and take a look at the plushie. Being a paranormal investigator yourself, you take him up on this offer. And, he's even willing to pay you, if you can figure out what's going on.

Principal: "Thank you so much for coming! I would go into details, but I think it's best if you see it for yourself. But basically, this thing seems to be moving on its own, but never when anyone's watching it directly... I knew to call you, since you tend to investigate stuff like this on a daily basis, at least. Anyway, let me show you where it is, and I'll let you take a look at it. Do whatever you need to, but please notify me if you need to take it home with you for any reason."

He guides you towards the gym, presumably because the plushie is in the gym closet
