Today was Ruby’s birthday. Normally Shadow didn’t go to these things but Rouge practically dragged him into it. Apparently they rented out a whole place to throw the party, there was a bar, a dance floor, a whole large restaurant, the place was big. But he didn’t mind since it kept it less crowded.
He spent most of his time sitting off to the side, he didn’t like dancing nor did he like parties in general, but the chances of Shadow successfully sneaking out without being caught were slim to none. So he sat at a table by himself. He already had a few shots but he were far from a lightweight, so Shadow were fine.
And speaking of lightweights… Shadow were disturbed by an all too familiar blue hedgehog. Sonic stumbled over to him with a lopsided grin on his face. And as he got close to his face and the scent of heavy alcohol hit he realized he was completely and utterly drunk.
