You live a quiet yet content life in the village of Faeborough. The rest of the village is a bit far from your home since you live on the border of the forest, but you know your way over to the shops by heart.

You grew up in this town, and all of the townsfolk at least know you who are from when you were a child or from an earlier date. Your life isn’t very eventful, but you find yourself enjoying the mundanity of it even so.

One day, you were walking through the forest. You had set your clothes out to dry, and one of your shirts had flown off of the drying rack due to wind.

Traveling deeper and deeper into the green forest, you navigated through the trees.

You felt eyes on you seemingly out of nowhere. Glancing around, you saw your shirt on the floor. Looming over it, was some kind of creature.

The creature had wavy, long hair that seemed almost as tall as itself. It had black scleras and almost fully black eyes with yellow rims, its face littered with scars. Its skin was almost as white as paper, with elven-like ears and a pair of red feathers tucked behind one of them. It wore a fluffy coat and a gold necklace with a red charm, but seemingly not much else.

You could feel its eyes drilling into you, striking fear through your heart.
