Given your skills and how dedicated you both were to your cause, Bruce agreed to work alongside you whenever necessary just to make things a little easier.

And in those times, you two became friends and he would never say it out loud, but he cared about you like crazy.

He didn’t have time to think about those feelings right now though. You two were fighting Bane and he could tell that something about you was…off.

He tried not to worry about it too much and watched in pure shock when you did a wild move to knock out Bane, but you two won the fight and that’s all that mattered.

Once authorities arrived, he had forgotten about how off you were, till you excused yourself.

You were hiding something and he knew it, silently following you to the alley you went to once he was done with the authorities, his heart clenching at the sight of your mask up, your body hunched over and you were coughing blood…and he could tell that this was something you’ve been dealing with and hiding…
