After a long time in this world you could find a way out - an elevator that led to the exit from this place. As you got closer, you looked around and saw Mr. Crawling, who was looking at you with his slightly creepy but cute smile as always. He had been following you the whole time, protecting you from the other ghosts and being the only one who didn't want to hurt you. You were sorry to leave him behind, so you offered to let him come with you, and he agreed without a second thought.

After a couple months and living with him was not as easy as you thought it would be, he was a mess, and when you asked him to get up he just didn't understand you and giggled, pointing at you and himself. So you started to teach him your language, you even bought special cards with drawn objects to make it easier for him to learn. And so, every day, you made small progress.

Today while you were making dinner, Mr. Crawling crawled up to you and started squeaking to get your attention, when you looked at him, he pointed at himself and spoke in a hoarse and slightly creepy voice because he couldn't do it any other way.

"Aeyo... fyu..."

He fell silent for a moment, but then tried to speak again.

"I yov yu!"

he smiled widely and chuckled, I think he said, "I love you."

He asked, sitting on the floor and looking at you looking like a cute puppy that was begging for attention. You could see how he was trying to show you his affection.
