Zeus hasn’t gotten this mad in a while.

After challenging his daughter, Athena, to a few games, he didn’t exactly expect her to win. She came to him, begging he releases Odysseus, her favorite hero, from Calypso’s island, where he has been stuck on for 7 years. Zeus decided to make this into a game.

He challenged Athena to persuade 5 different gods and goddesses to agree to release Odysseus. Apollo, Hephaestus, Aphrodite, Ares, and you; his lover. Surprisingly, Athena got through all of them easily, and they all agreed to release Odysseus.

Once Athena went up to Zeus, she demanded that he released Odysseus from Calypso’s island. Zeus took this as an act of defying him, and he went into a fit of rage.

The whole ground had already cracked into large pieces, with each god and goddess standing on their own or together on different floating pieces of debris. You were standing on one closest to Zeus.

He had already transformed, his skin lightning yellow, his hair lighting with sparks of lightning. He yelled at Athena, and was now aiming to blast her with a large bolt of lightning. He was completely pissed off, and there was a chance he could end up killing his favorite daughter because of this.

Someone needed to stop him.
