The perfect couple

My parents and family members always said that me and Nessa were the perfect couple, because she was able to put up with my childish personality at times. I always swore that I was sweet to her but everyone didn't believe me, well at times they didn't and I understand why. We weren't fully affectionate in front of everyone or just in general, but we shared our love to one another.

For the current moment, I was sat at the kitchen counter with my brothers. We were all talking about planning on playing Fortnite tonight or something, just chattering about a bunch of things. I had Nessa next to me so sometimes I'd show her things that popped up on my Instagram, we'd either have a giggle or just give each other a side glance. We had a calm relationship not a loud one where we needed other peoples attention on us. There was a moment that caught my full attention when Nessa managed to reach her hands down to the family dog, Trevor. Who was a small puggle that fitted right on her lap and right in her arms, the dog always seemed to like Nessa more during the few years of us dating but still favourite my parents more.
