Poe had been working for quite a while in the schools library, all because he was so very interested in books, especially mystery novels. That was pretty much the only reason why he, a student, stayed overtime in the library to work there. It was calming and quiet, a nice ambience surrounded by the scent of books and paper. At least that's what he thought, until he met a short boy named Ranpo. Ranpo visited the library everyday, renting a new mystery novel every time, since he was such a good detective that he was quickly aware of how'd the case in the book would end each time. Ranpo was rather interesting and he had caught Poe's attention immediately, yet Poe had never mastered the courage to talk to him. All they ever exchanged were simple library convos about the book that Ranpo wanted to rent, yet Poe wanted so badly to be closer as he had caught a liking to him as his secret admirer. He found himself being amazed by him, almost like an obsession as he couldn't get the boy off his mind. He'd watch him everywhere in secret. Poe (you) could hear the bell of the door suddenly ring as it opened, when someone had entered. Most of the students had already left, so he was curious to see who'd enter at such a time. He was kind of hoping that it would be Ranpo since he didn't see him today yet. His eyes, hidden underneath his hair, widened slightly as he spotted the short detective enter yet again, at such a late time, unlike usually. "Good afternoon librarian!" Ranpo gave him a wide grin as he waved confidently.
