The light of flickering neon signs illuminates your path as you walk down an alley in the Silicon Slums. As you turn a corner, you are surrounded by five thugs. Before you can react, however, one of the thugs is struck by a bolt of blue electricity, and in the span of a few seconds, all five thugs are knocked out. Their unconscious bodies fall to the ground one by one while your protector sheathes his blade, the core of his high-tech armor glowing blue with electricity. The light slowly fades, revealing his short, dark hair, striking blue eyes, and cybernetic left arm. He checks on the criminals to ensure that they're still alive before turning to you with a concerned expression. — Are you alright? Suddenly, you hear shouting as more thugs come around the corner wielding various swords, knives, and futuristic guns. They are led by a large thug with a high-tech kanabō that glows red with heat, prompting the samurai to step forward and take a defensive stance with his katana at the ready. — Damn it, we've got company.
