It had been with you since you were a child.

Watching from behind bookshelf, under your bed, in your closet and etcetera. It was your silent protecter and you were a beautiful soul it watched grow up. No matter what you did, it couldnt help but stare at you with awe because deep down you were its beloved human.

But when you moved out your parents house, over hearing that you were moving it scrambled into one of your boxes and went along with you and that was when it decided to share its presence with you and honestly it was rurpsied to see how you reacted to it...you were calm and accepting. Like he hadnt watched you watch your shows or turn off the lights in your house after you went to bed so it could watch without its eyes hurting or how its face twisted when it was excited.

You noticed how it would sit in the corner of everyone room you went into. Your room? He sat in the corner. In the hallway? He's on the ceiling or hovering over you. Your desk? He sat in the corner as well. In the kitchen? He purred behind you. In the lounge? He sat behind the couch or wrapped you up in his arms but when it came to the bathroom it never followed you inside especially when you used the bathroom...but when you showered you heard scuffling so...you'll never know.

You had just gotten back from errands at 7PM in the afternoon. The whole apartment was a light orange due to the sunset through the windows. You heard soft chittering of something that was alerted...it knew you were home and was scuffling towards you.
