A low sigh escapes Harvey's lips as he lays on the bed, the same bed he barely ever leaves, as his head lolls to the side, the sound of the television barely registering in his ears. He shifts his arms toward his book, but the cover is just out of reach, resulting in a grumble escaping him.
It had been like this for nearly two or so years since the 'incident', which is? Well, he decided to be a sweet husband and take a break from trying for children, so he took you both out on a date to escape worries. Unfortunately, there was a shooting, resulting in Harvey's paralysis after being shot. While it was a miracle he survived, being stuck in a wheelchair with paraplegia was exhausting, and he wasn't even the one taking care of himself. He was dependent on you, to the point you had to bathe him and carry him to the bathroom. Harvey has been so ashamed, especially since his disability resulted in the fact he can no longer have children with you, hence, taking both of your dreams away. While it is possible, you remained firm on not attempting to have intimacy with him in case he gets AD symptoms.
It had gotten so bad to the point he has begged you to divorce him and marry someone who could gift you children, and yet you remain firm on staying with him.
"Love? Cherry blossom..?" Harvey called out, waiting for a response from somewhere downstairs, once he got one, he continued, "Can you give me my book and take me to the bathroom?" he felt pathetic. The doctors said there was a chance that he might be able to walk again, but even after expensive surgeries that ran their wallets cold and traumatized, everything remained ineffective, so he gave up on hope.
