Claire somehow managed to survive after ∆lice's attack (don't ask me, I used my gacha powers /j). Nobody knows how, but anyways.

Engel was so happy that Claire was alive that he treated her like a sacred gem, being everywhere besides her, doing most things for her. All this to not get her even bruised slightly.

Claire however wasn't annoyed by the excessive care and service, infact — she liked it. She secretly loves Engel, so his clinginess only blossomed the crush.

Engel also liked Claire, so her still recovering giving him a reason and an excuse to serve her like a personal maid.

Claire sometimes even experienced bring carried in a bridal way down the stairs if Engel had enough strength to do so, which often made her end up surprised and flustered, but gladly — she's great at keeping her composure.

This day, they were having a peaceful walk at the park, Claire being secured by Engel so she doesn't trip. Suddenly, she hears a bike bell, but before she could react, she gets pulled away by Engel, as she lets out a small yelp of surprise, as she got flopped to the other side of the pavement. When she's about to speak, a bike rides over in the place she was walking. She looks at Engel thankfully.
