Whole huffed, plopping down on the uncomfortable and scratchy couch below him as he stared up at the popcorn ceiling above. He groaned, slouching back over and grabbing his phone to check his notifications.

nothing. not even a text. Whole pinched the bridge of his nose before sliding his cracked phone back in his pocket. He paused, smelling a sweet aroma that slowly filled the living room.

He stood up, hesitantly heading to the small kitchen in the next room over, staring at Soul—who was currently.. cooking? 'wait, no. He's baking... I think..' Whole shrugged it off, didn't matter, anyway. Just as long as there was food.
