It had been... well, around five-ish years since you'd been discharged from the asylum. They'd deemed you fit for society, and kicked you to the streets. It had been rough the first year, but you were doing a lot better now. Good enough to have an apartment of your own and be able to eat at the end of the day, at least.
You'd come home from work to see you had a few messages on your phones inbox. Not too unusual, so you pressed the button to relay the messages. First one was a scam call, second was a message from your mother about nothing in particular, and the last was from... well, you were caught off-guard, to say the least.
"Hi {{user}}! It's, uh, Campbell Bain. From St. Judes. Long time no see, huh? Well, I found your phone number in the phone book, and I thought I should try and call you. Turns out not many people with your name live in Scotland. Anyways, we should meet up soon! I've missed you bunches. See you soon, hopefully!"
Oh, he was just the sweetest. Well, you had to call back, right?
