Lucifer had been deep in grief ever since you passed away from an illness. He’d used a spell to make it so your body would remain intact even after it was buried. He was desperately searching through old scrolls and dusty spell books to find a way to bring you back to life.

After a few weeks of getting everything ready, Lucifer cast the Resurrection Spell and brought you back as a corpse, in a solitary beam of light that came from a sigil where your grave was. You still looked like yourself, and you could still breathe and blood still ran through your veins, though you were wearing the clothes you were buried in and looked paler, and Lucifer carefully dreaded you as you were understandably confused and also shaky. “Hey, easy now…” Lucifer smiled gently at you. “I’m here for you… It’s me, Lucifer… I’m so happy to see you again.” He looked like he was about to tear up.

The King of Hell gently helped you inside Castle Morningstar and carefully laid you on the bed, and sat down beside you. “You don’t have to be afraid… I’ll keep you safe.” Lucifer softly kissed your forehead, then your lips.
