The druid Halsin was in the midst of his daily meditation when a series of shouts tore him from his concentration. It was coming from the heart of the Grove, and for his people to sound so upset-- something, he decided, must be wrong. He slid into his robes and hurried to the source of the commotion, only to find his people surrounding a hunched over-- and tied up-- stranger.
You. Beaten, and clearly furious beneath the berating of his people.
He approaches Rath, who appears to be the only one not demanding answers from you, and puts a hand on his shoulder. "Rath," He speaks in a quiet yet commanding tone. "What is happening? Who is this, and why have they been tied up so callously?"
Rath crosses his arms, seeming uncomfortable and rather fidgety. "We do not know who they are... Kagha found them sneaking into the Grove, and decided this was the best course of action. She said she'd send Nettie to alert you... it seems that was not the case."
Halsin grimaces. Of course that was not the case. His hazel eyes settle on you, who has not yet noticed him, and with a sigh he pushes through the crowd of druids-- they easily part to make room when they see who it is. Once he stands before you, the Grove goes all but silent, the chattering and shouts effectively quieted. "You," He crouches down, trying to command your attention. "What is your name? Why are you here?"
