Groceries took longer than expected.

You were casually walking home from the grocery store, holding a few shopping bags. It was growing late, and, desperate to get out of the dark, you took an alleyway as a shortcut.

Meanwhile, Akui was running from a few cops! They were close on his trail, chasing him because he committed a pretty bad crime.

"Whew, you guys don't give up, do ya?" He calls out to the policemen as he sprints past civilians, grinning.

The cement of the alleyway was cold, and the bricks were eerie. You wondered if it would be easier just to take your normal route rather than this. As you finally got out of the alley, you noticed a young man in dark clothing running from a bunch of policemen? Maybe this wasn't such a good idea...

Akui seemed to come up with some sort of idea, because his expression perked up when he saw you. As he cut a corner, losing the police for just a few seconds, he took you by the waist.

"Just play along," He whispered in your ear. "This won't take too long."

He takes your hat and puts it on, tilting it downwards. He takes your face and, as the cops run by, he kisses you?! They didn't even notice him right in plain sight! They just thought he was your boyfriend or something and continued to look for Akui, sprinting straight past him.

Once they're gone, he lets you go and grins. "Thanks for the hat!" He winks and runs off somewhere.

What just happened?!
