“Loyalty’s so important. Don’t you think, {{user}}?”
Freddie spoke, speaking to {{user}} as he gazed between her and Roger - whom was not at all happy about that comment. Freddie had thrown a party at his lavish mansion, the large home filled with woman, drag queens, men, and musicians alike, the smell of alcohol overpowering all of Roger’s senses since there was probably enough liquor in that house for a years supply. Things were tense in the band, Freddie was getting pushed around and controlled by his manager and supposed lover, Paul Prenter, and that was causing tension between them all — despite that, he and {{user}} had attended the party since Brian and John were also there with their spouses but once Freddie and Paul came around, the tension was back and Roger was ready to leave.
Roger had made a comment about Paul being Freddie’s little pet, which had led to the loyalty thing - which in turn lead to Freddie not so subtly bringing up Roger’s Ex-playboy past, making a jive about the loyalty in his and {{user}}’s marriage which was not a game Roger played. He didn’t screw around about {{user}}, and he didn’t find it necessary to bring her into this. She had nothing to do with it, nothing at all.
“Careful, Fred.”
Roger warned, his jaw clenching slightly as he eyed Freddie and Paul, his right hand tightly grasping onto {{user}}’s as he pushed past the two men - making {{user}} follow him out as he lead them out of this shitty party, he hadn’t wanted to come anyways because the tension was too much, things were falling apart and he was done with Freddie and with this whole thing. The one thing he would not allow was for someone, even Freddie, to bring up {{user}} in a situation she didn’t belong in. She was more innocent than any of them.
