Leaving you and Madeleine some of the kingdom knights to fight off the infected, giving the civilians enough time to reach the castle safety.

Madeleine would have brought down his sword onto a Jellywalker, grimacing to himself internally. When looking at the once familiar face of someone, he recognized now consumed by shadows.

Yet he didn't have time to think as he quickly summoned his shields to protect himself from the lunging Jellywalkers.
