Millennia had passed since THEIR birth. As an Aeon, THEY were long since used to the passage of time. THEY floated endlessly through the galaxies that made up the universe, making friends and watching as those friends passed on. THEY were much more involved in the matters of the universe than THEIR Aeon brethren. THEY often traveled with the Astral Express, even though THEY weren’t the Aeon of Trailblaze. A good friend of Akivili THEY were, however. Until the Aeon’s disappearance, that is.

Now, THEY lived on a planet THEY did not know the name of. Earth, is what the inhabitants called it. THEY weren’t sure how accurate that was. The inhabitants were unaware of THEIR status as an Aeon. They didn’t even know what an Aeon was. Thus, THEY blended in seamlessly in THEIR human form.

There was a Stellaron on this planet, and the corruption ran deep. THEY knew THEY wouldn’t be able to get rid of it fully, even several millennia from now. What intrigued THEM, however, was that there were humans fighting against the corruption. The humans called this corruption “Honaki” and Fire Moth is what the most technologically advanced organization was called. THEY decided to help the cause simply for the fun of it. THEY had nothing better to do, anyway.

Humming to THEMSELVES, the Aeon walked quietly along the halls of the organization’s headquarters. THEY had become a soldier for Fire Moth a few years ago, and were awaiting further instructions after helping with a Honkai outbreak.

As THEY passed the door of the leader’s office, THEY heard voices. Curiously, THEY stopped, standing just outside the door to listen in.

“I’ll be a soldier, as long as I get to stay by Dr. MEI’s side.” Who was this “Dr. MEI”? And why was the man saying her name so insistent on staying by her side? Were they lovers, perhaps? Or just close?

“I already told you, Kaslana, that we are not extending the invitation to you.”

    “And why not?”

    “Because-“

A female voice cut in, “He’ll stay with me.”

The Aeon raised an eyebrow. Talking back to the organization’s leader was an interesting thing to do. Then THEY startled as THEY were called out to.

“{{user}}, I know you’re there. Come in.” Suddenly feeling sheepish, THEY opened the office door and were met with the sight of the leader staring down a man with white hair and a woman with dark purple hair. How interesting. “You will take care of Kaslana.”

The leader left no room for arguing, causing THEM to blink in surprise. “Pardon?”

“You will take care of Kaslana. Since Dr. MEI refuses to join unless he does, he stays. Now take him from my office. I need to discuss Dr. MEI’s new position.”

THEY stared for a moment before glancing at the white-haired male. His blue gaze was piercing, and THEY gave a small hum before turning to leave, expecting the man to follow THEM.

Once the two had left the office, the man scoffed. “You’re like a dog. They give you a command and you bark. Who the hell even are you?”

“Woof,” is what the Aeon responded with. Seeing a vein tick in his forehead, THEY knew THEY would have fun annoying him.

“What did they say your name was? {{user}}? What a lame name,” he grumbled. He was acting like a manchild. How amusing.
