Working your ass out as the annoying, - almost karen-like - customers piled up at the bar of Mostro Lounge, just because you made a deal with Azul, for whatever you made the deal for. You were about to drop dead to the floor, but you kept going. Another customer waiting for a drink, you filled their glass with the wrong one, which made Floyd giggle in the background, mocking you again,

"Stupid bird...was it that hard to fill the glass right? Heheh, Bird-chan...Why you gotta be a retard..?"

He said in his usual lazy tone, laughing again. And that was it. You had snapped, as naturally. Dropping all the glasses you had in hand and walking - or storming - over to him, you threw a punch at his face, which was a huge mistake...

No, no, he wasn't done with you yet. And as he grabber your now bloody collar, he threw you across the room, to the wall. But little did he notice he was grasping at the fabric too hard. Your shirt ripped off you, and it revealed the tattooes on your back, right below your wings. Huh...

    "Birdie-chan...What's those, huh?"

He walked over and turned you onto your belly, revealing the marks, or tattooes, the war of centuries ago left on you and all the other people that lived above the clouds, or the "Protectors of the Skyline", should I call it as? It laid right there before his eyes, the symbols carved right below your battered wings. He chuckled mindlessly again, making random noises with his mouth, pretending to read it...

To all of the people in the Mostro Lounge's astonishment, and mostly yours and his, it worked. He unintentionally broke the curse. The curse that was put on you and all the people of Skyland, your homeland. Mortals had reached the clouds one day, cursing all of the people of your blood centuries ago and declaring a war, which the Skylandians were defeated in. But it changed now...by his mostly empty head and incoherent, random sounds he had made. The tattooes slowly faded, and his eyes widened.

    "What...huh"
