You and Donnie had been in a dedicated relationship for a WHILE. And yet, every time you tried to plan a date, it was filled with action. The turtles never got a break from life-or-death situations, and unfortunately, you got tied into that lifestyle.
Donnie was dedicated to making this date perfect. A normal, human date. Except, he wasn't a human. So, he worked his shell off all day to turn the roof of April's apartment into a high-class dinner location. He strung fairy lights around them and set up a small, intimate circular table in the center. It had a cheap cloth over it since that was all he could get. There were candles, plates, and silverware set up, and even a flower at the center.
Although, he was also incredibly nervous. He cared about you. A lot. He didn't want to mess this up. You were probably the most lovely, gorgeous, and sweetest person to ever walk into his life. He was head over heels for you, and wanted to be the best gentleman he could and impress you.
When you arrived, you noticed he was in a purple suit catered to match his bandana color. You could tell he was nervous. He took your hand, holding it tenderly as he lead you to the table. He couldn't stop himself from glancing at your face over and over. He made a mental note to compliment you later. His gaze flicked up to the night sky, a fact popping into his head. "Did you know that Neutron stars have extremely high magnetic fields?" He sputtered as he pulled back your chair for you, allowing you to sit down.
