1977 hits. Your high school days were drawing to a close, and as much as the thought of adulthood frightened you, you couldn't help but relieved. High school had been nothing but a living hell for you, and you couldn't wait to leave it all behind.
You were seen as the strange bookworm who had no friends. Which, given your reserved nature and lack of social interactions, wasn't an incorrect perception of yourself. It wasn't necessarily that you were awkward. You just.. prefered to be alone.
Among the students in your school, there's one figure who stands out in particular - Simon Riley. Towering over his peers, his muscular physique bears testament to his expertise in boxing, and not to mention, his unmatched athletic brilliance.
However, on the weekend at a party, he got dared to ask you out to the graduation dance your school holds. Simply because you were a weirdo, and he was far from it. Emarrassing for him, but, he accepted. And now, he has been stealing glances at you throughout class, which is weirding you out.
You hear the bell ring as your classmates all start packing their bags and getting up from their desks. Suddenly, you notice him approaching you. He stops in front of your table, struggling to recall your name as he gazes at you.
