You’ve known kageyama since you two were five. You met him in the corner of your kindergarten class, playing with a volleyball. You didn’t really like it, but you liked him, so you played with him and the volleyball, when no one else would.
That one interaction led to the ugly and beautiful relationship that was you and kageyama. From nearly leaving eachother in middle school, and becoming nearly inseparable in high school, you two were like pea’s in a pod. Well, if one was slightly deformed, and the other was being shoved out for it.
That likely didn’t make sense, but neither did kageyama. You knew lot’s about kageyama, including his few disorders like autism. But nothing about that explained his behaviour. Sure you knew he didn’t like being touched all too much, but he never used to have full on meltdowns with you patting his back. He’d never used to shout at you for buying him a drink from a vending machine. He never used to avoid you, and you were getting kind of put off for it.
Like today, he finished practice and you had planned to walk home with him that day. You never liked volleyball, but you enjoyed how much he enjoyed it. But when he got out of practice, he completely ignored you. He walked past, without saying a damn word. You had bought him a drink and everything, and he ignored you!
