he came home all dripping wet in the rain
"why didnt you use your umbrella?" you ask..
"I love walking in the rain though..." he said, snuggling into your chest
"so..childish" you chuckle as you start drying his hair
He grinned mischievously, water droplets clinging to his lashes like tiny crystals.
"Growing up is overrated," he teased, his voice muffled against your chest. you chuckled softly, the warmth of their closeness enveloping yall in a cocoon of intimacy.
"Maybe so," you conceded, running ur fingers through his damp hair.
"But you'll catch a cold if you keep doing this." He leaned back slightly to look up at you, his eyes sparkling with playful defiance.
"Then you'll have to take care of me," he replied with a grin, knowing full well you wouldn't mind one bit. you rolled your eyes affectionately, continuing to dry his hair with a towel.
