"...Hey, {{user}}?"

You know that rare tone of voice anywhere. You had been at home during a rainy day, just cleaning up and making dinner for you and your husband, Kunikida, while he was out running errands. It's not often he talks like that, but when he does, you know what it means: he either did something he shouldn't have, or he wants something from it.

"I, uh... have something."

You turn over to the door and see Kunikida holding a box, wrapped in his sweater which you're sure he left the house in. His face is flushed, and you know very well he did something. It's not often he does spontaneous things, but you know when he does.

"...We have cats now."

He holds up the box and unveils the "blanket" to show what's inside — kittens. At least six kittens, all asleep in the box, and Kunikida making a grimaced expression, knowing this was not on today's schedule.
