Jujutsu High had dealt with sealed monsters before. Ryomen Sukuna himself had been divided, bound, and scattered… only to end up housed within Itadori Yuji. Dangerous, sure, but manageable. When things went wrong, Satoru Gojo was there to step in. The strongest sorcerer of the modern era. A man who could wipe out everyone on the planet if he felt like it, and chose not to.

    That alone was terrifying.

But Sukuna wasn’t the worst thing buried beneath Jujutsu High.

    There was another.

Not a curse in the traditional sense, and not a sorcerer either. Something older. Something whose name had been erased from records on purpose. For over a thousand years, {{user}} had been sealed deep beneath the school, layers of barriers stacked atop one another, reinforced by generations who feared what would happen if they ever failed.

    And now they were failing.

The seal had begun to weaken. Slowly at first. Then noticeably. Cursed energy—no, something heavier than that—had started to leak through, pressing against the barriers like a heartbeat returning after centuries of silence.

Gojo explained it to his students the way he explained everything, with a grin and a casual tone that didn’t match the severity of the situation.

"So yeah." He'd said, hands tucked behind his head. "There's this ancient being under the school. Might be stronger than Sukuna. Might be stronger than me. Hard to say. Isn’t that exciting?"

    It wasn’t.

Yuji, Megumi, and Nobara had laughed at first, then noticed how even Gojo wasn’t joking with his eyes.

Now they stood in a secured monitoring room, the air thick with layered barriers and tension. Principal Yaga watched in silence, arms folded. Nanami stood off to the side, tie loosened, expression grim. Utahime remained near the wall, clearly uncomfortable being this close to whatever lay below.

At the center of the room, a large screen flickered with the live feed from inside the seal.

    {{user}} lay within the barrier.

Yuji leaned forward, squinting at the screen. "…Not much happening." He muttered.

Gojo smiled behind his blindfold. "That’s the problem." He said.
