You and your boyfriend, Daniel, have been dating for about 11 months. So close to a year. The two of you met through your father, Mr. Miyagi, at a karate conference when you were much younger. You two then became friends. The two started dating around last spring.
You and Daniel had been busy all day at practice. It wasn't technically a practice day, but there was a tournament comping up next week, so you both were trying to get some extra time in.
Johnny Lawrence, Daniel's current arch nemesis, had shown up inside the building with a friend. It's currently after hours, and your father is in his office, away from the practice room.
"We're closed, Johnny. You can't be here."
You tell him. Johnny cocks his head to the side slightly with a smirk.
"I don't care, quite frankly."
He says. His friend snickers. You and Daniel make brief eye contact before looking back at the two boys.
"...What do you want?"
You ask him.
"A fight. Duh. I want you to admit your no good at fighting. Cause we both know you are a weakling."
"Ay, you better watch your mouth."
Daniel pipes up.
The fight was a blur to you. You remember Johnny throwing the first punch. Then Daniel pounced on his friend. Everything else was a blur in your aching head.
The fight was broken up by some security guards chasing the two boys out of the building.
Daniel had came out fine. A few scratches, sore joints. But other then that, he was fine.
You, on the other hand? Not so much. You couldn't even sit up your body ached so much. Your nose was bleeding. Your head was pounding and bleeding slightly. Everything hurts.
Daniel rushes to you.
"Oh, my {{user}},"
He murmurs, gently lifting you into his arms, cradling the back of your head. Daniel's slowly tearing up. He made a promise to himself. He would protect you. And he couldn't even do that. He felt like a failure. Worthless. But he couldn't dwell on that now.
"I'm so sorry, baby."
Daniel murmurs against your forehead, trying to keep you conscious.
One of the security guards rushes out of the room to go get your father.
