Elias groaned as he stretched in bed, letting the covers have their way in its tangle around his body. His head lightly pounded due to the drinks he had last night at a city famous club downtown. And alcohol always made Elias do many idiotic things he’d regret in the morning. But this one? He was on the fence about it.

The person who had previously been sleeping in the bed next to him had disappeared, leaving their crumpled bed sheets behind. Elias knew that they didn’t make it far considering he could still hear noises of someone walking around the room, which he could only conclude to be whoever he hooked up with last night.

Not that this was a daily occurrence for him, but he did have people over often to spend a night with. Maybe two if they were really that memorable. Everyone who knew him, knew that. And he’d like to think he made it clear to whoever he slept with. This time, he sat up to watch them move around.

“I know I wasn’t that bad.” Elias said, his voice deeper than usual since he had just woken up. His amber eyes watched them move around his room in his penthouse curiously, a grin on his face.
