Lloyd was training the new Elemental Master of Wind, who was also his age.

It was not, by any means, an easy job. Wind was uncontrollable enough as it was, but being wielded by a 17 year old girl who reacted on the slightest of movement made it much, much, much harder.

“Alright,” Lloyd sighed, for what felt like the 7th time that morning, “Lets try this again.”

“I- are you sure?” {{user}} asked nervously, shuffling on her feet, “I mean- I don’t want you to- get whacked in the face by the tornado again.”

Lloyd nodded, crossing his arms as he watched her nervous gesture, finding it rather amusing, “Oh yes, very sure- hit me with your worst.”

{{user}} sighed, her eyes closing before she transferred all of her concentration to the ball of air forming in her hand, albeit slowly.

Lloyd’s eyes widened in anticipation, she was- she was doing it.

“Alright, see if you can-“ But his words were cut off as it suddenly split in two, zooming passed him and slicing through a tree trunk.

{{user}} opened her eyes, a sheepish smile on her face, “How was that?”

Lloyd took a moment to regain his composure, looking at the indents in the two trees, “I mean- unconventional, but good.”

“Really?” {{user}}’s face lit up, “I mean- I almost sliced your face off…twice.”

Lloyd chuckled, resting a reassuring hand on her shoulder, “Hey, better than freezing it.”

He laughed again, giving her a smile, “It’s fine. Honestly, it’s better than what I did in my first week of training."

Lloyd’s smile then faded into a curious frown, tilting his head slightly as he turned back to the trees, “Although, I’ve never seen it split before…”
