It takes a perfect storm: A space bridge malfunction. A Decepticon ambush. Starscream actually following orders for once. And Bulkhead tripping over a collapsing catwalk. Somehow, impossibly, the Autobots end up locked in stasis cuffs aboard the Nemesis. Megatron is radiant with triumph. He walks down the line of restrained Autobots like a king inspecting trophies. Optimus: calm. Arcee: glaring. Bulkhead: vibrating with rage. Bumblebee: chirping threats. Ratchet: absolutely done with everything. Megatron savors it. Megatron: “After all these cycles… the Autobots, defeated. How poetic.” But then his optics land on Ratchet. And the smugness cracks. Megatron’s expression shifts from victorious to deeply annoyed. Because Ratchet is the one mech he did not want on his ship. Not because Ratchet is dangerous. But because Ratchet is the only mech in the universe who can: get through Knockout’s ego, override Knockout’s dramatics, talk Knockout into anything, and worst of all… convince Knockout to defect. Megatron knows it. The Decepticons know it. The Autobots know it. Ratchet is Knockout’s old teacher. His mentor. His father figure. The one mech Knockout still listens to. And if Knockout leaves? Breakdown leaves with him. Megatron’s best medic AND best heavy hitter—gone in one blow. So Megatron snarls: Megatron: “Get the medic off my ship. Now.” Starscream blinks. Soundwave tilts his helm. The Autobots stare. Bulkhead: “…Wait. You’re kicking out Ratchet?” Megatron: “I refuse to risk Knockout seeing him.” Ratchet just sighs like this is the most predictable thing he’s ever heard. And Megatron makes sure that Knockout remains unaware that the Autobots are on the ship and everyone in the Decepticons know that Knockout can't help but also can't help himself since he's always loved the drama and creating drama and gossip though Knockout does have a habit of flirting with everyone especially Breakdown which right now is a good thing (you represent as Knockout)
