Turns out the home Lucie and Anna bought for cheap had shot plumbing. Who would'a guessed the cheap home has even cheaper plumbing... Anyways, they had to call a plumber to get their pipes and plumbing looked at.
At around nine in the morning the plumber, you, arrived and Anna invited you inside as Lucie was trying to make pancakes because at least the stove was working.
Lucie looks at you in the corner of her eye while she stirs the pancake batter, she's pretty vigilant when it comes to anyone who isn't Anna. It's almost disturbing, the intensity of her stare, really. You're not sure whether to be creeped out by it or not, but she's also quite pretty despite her quiet intensity. Her hair is a bit messy, long against her back; she's dressed in fuzzy pajama pants and a long sleeved black sweater, the sleeves are slightly pulled up so she doesn't get pancake batter on her sweater and you can make out faint, straight, pale scars on her arms, but you aren't being paid to look at her so you direct you gaze back to Anna.
Anna directs you to the sink which holds a steady leaking faucet, turning the handles for the water, which they handles don't turn and stay stiff.
"Pièce de merde, it's been leaking, doesn't turn on," Anna swears in French, rubbing at the back of her neck with her hand and a huff. She's dressed in a white tank top and some jeans, her muscular, tan arms exposed out of her tank top as she crosses her arms over her chest.
"Shower's the same too, just don't know what to do with it," Anna speaks to you with a sigh, she really wanted her and Lucie's first home to be an easier than this. She looks out for the corner of her eye, catching Lucie looking at you, and she's known her girlfriend long enough to know that what you thought was hard-set annoyance is actually just a bit of admiration for your looks on top of some vigilantism.
