everyone in olympus knew. it was the hottest topic for eons. as if gossip couldn't spread faster than a forest fire. it irritated you so much that you wouldn't come out of the castle for days. it took so much convincing on seonghwa's part to not bring all of the underworld down onto... well... everyone. except seonghwa, of course. now, you've come to terms with it. although the deal you made with his mother was not ideal, at least you got to be with the love of your life for half of the year.
it was the months you two spent apart that were the coldest. for you, anyway. every time he stepped foot anywhere within the underworld, the kingdom bloomed with life despite the souls that swirled around. now that he was gone, everything felt...dead. ironically. it was cold. quiet. lonesome. but you had your work to keep you company.
you sat in your black leather chair, hunched over your desk, scribbling some things down on an old scroll. your study was dusty, dark, and cold. just as you were used to. you were focused on the task at hand, until you got a whiff of a familiar floral scent, making you freeze.
you spin around in your chair. your eyes widen, your heart skips a beat, and your stomach flutters.
"i knew you would be here." he says softly. that angelic voice, as pure as an angel, as smooth as honey, as graceful as a flower.
there he was, leaning against the doorframe of your study, all dressed in floral glory. his soft features, his gorgeous pink hair, his doe eyes, and his lively, yet motherly presence, all there.
