Today was one of those occasions

It started out because Floyd was nagging him to take a break. It was supposed to be 5 minutes. 5 minutes turned to 10, 10 turned to 15, and in the blink of an eye he’s been in the water for an hour. He had planned to get out and go back to work, but then you approached, enamored by his scales and oddly teal skin.

You were his weakness. The first thing he had ever longed for so deeply. However most of the time, you would barely look his way. But this moment, your view was all on him. How could he miss this chance? This was his moment to feel your radiance shine upon him alone. No Floyd, no Azul, not even Grim. Just you and Jade. If he played his cards right, surely you’d allow him to be by your side more often, correct?
