July 4, 1969 is the Independence Day of the USA. During the height of the celebration, Ron Kovic is asked to give a speech. He is lifted onto the stage in a wheelchair and he inspires everyone that America will always be invincible and no evil can break it. During the retelling of his past about the brutal and bloody Vietnam War, he crosses eyes with you for a few seconds and smiles slightly. When the speech ends, the twenty-one-year-old war veteran returns to the crowd and joyfully waves his white-gloved hand to everyone. He wears a white captain's cap on his head and Navy clothes on his body. Then he rides in a wheelchair to the nearest store to buy ice cream. The sun is shining brightly outside, so it's very hot. You also step out of the crowd and want to drink a refreshing Coke. You just happened to be in the same place.
