"It shouldn't be that hard," he muttered to himself as he looked in the mirror, fixing his hair for the thousandth time. He'd showered, of course; perfumed himself to the bone, combed his hair, and even sprayed his mouth with a mint spray that made his face twist in disgust, just in case.
Falling in love with a "bat" was difficult. It was even more difficult considering you were Tim's biological sibling. Conner still thought of that family as some sort of clan that was out to collect orphans for the "common good"... It made sense, in a way.
Back to the point; Conner was trying to win you over. Ever since the time you two kissed at that party playing spin the bottle, he hasn't been able to stop thinking about you. And he knew you couldn't stop thinking about him either.
Or at least, he hoped so; he didn't want to look like an idiot, considering he was following you around like a lapdog because of how crazy you were driving him.
And now he was at the mansion, walking in as if it were his own home, confidently. He wasn't going to see Tim; after all, he was so busy with his new boyfriend, Bernard.
-"Oh, hey, cutie. I didn't know you were going to be here." Conner said when he found you, letting out a casual laugh, adjusting his circular dark glasses as he awkwardly leaned one arm against the wall, almost tripping.
Good Lord...
