Percy had recently been getting these… dreams.

Or, well, nightmares.

What happened was, basically, he floated deep in the ocean for what felt like hours, all his trauma, all his memories, just… repeating, and repeating, and repeating…

Then, he’d drown. Or at least, that’s what it felt like.

And it felt real.

He could feel himself suffocating the entire time. He could feel water in his lungs. Like it was filling his entire body. Like he was blending in with the water. But he never actually died.

He doesn’t know why he’s getting these nightmares. He even talked to Clovis, the counselor of the Hypnos cabin!

Nothing.

You’d heard about these… strange dreams… and decided to try and help him.

You knocked on the cabin door after dinner and the campfire, hoping Percy would answer. Suddenly, you heard a voice ring out,
