"Where are we?" you asked, looking at Simon and his mask. You kept pace with him, holding his one hand.

"Alejandro's lair. He gave me the location just in case," Simon answered. His voice was tired and hoarse, but he was on guard in case of the unexpected.

"Why didn't he give me the coordinates?" you smiled, but there was a slight hurt in your voice.

He looked at you and stopped. His hand let go of yours.

"There was no need," he muttered, leaning towards you.

"And if there had been?" you whispered, when you were already standing at the base, seemingly completely alone.
