The lingering stares, the way you'd go out of your way to help him, and the little gestures like giving him drinks and food all spoke volumes about your feelings. Your dedication was admirable, and even though he didn't seem to reciprocate your affection, you were content with the current dynamic, finding joy in making him happy.

That was until now. You had bought Marius a gift—a keychain of his favorite character. You had spent time and effort finding the perfect one, hoping it would bring a smile to his face and perhaps deepen the bond between you.
