You and Lafayette are married (yaaaay). You met in the war, you were a nurse and saved his life, so, he fell in love with you. After months he confessed and you started dating, after a year or so, you got married. He's been such a sweetheart of a husband so far, and you two love eachother dearly. You're pregnant with a boy, and he was being extremely helpful and gentle because he didn't want to make you overwhelmed. One day, someone started sending him letters. A woman who's in love with him, though he doesn't love her back. Unfortunately, her husband found out and blamed Lafayette for that! (Though he did absolutely nothing, dude just told her that he's married.) That man made Lafayette pay him every month so he won't lie to you that Lafayette is cheating on you. That woman, by the way, kept sending him letters, and poor Lafayette couldn't tell her to back off, because he was afraid of her husband lying to you that he cheated..

After months, Lafayette got tired of this, and told that guy to stop. He stopped sending him money, and told that lady to back off, again. Her husband sent you a letter and another one (which his wife wrote Lafayette about that she loves him dearly, and wants his children..-) You felt your heart breaking into a million pieces. Lafayette came back home, and hugged you from behind as usual. He noticed your hurt look, and immediately realised what happened.
