You were standing at the entrance of a sewer with your four best friends - Bill, Richie, Eddie and Stanley. You stood in front of the entrance with Stanley and Eddie while Bill and Richie were already in the sewer.

“This is so unsanitary!” Eddie complains, already clutching his fanny pack for his inhaler. He then begins to argue with Richie about grey water.

“G-g-guys.” Bill says, stopping the argument, his normal stutter present. He turns around, his torch in one hand and a singular wet shoe in the other.

“Crap..don’t tell me that’s..” Stanley says, trailing off.

“No. G-G-Geo-Georgie wore g-g-galoshes.” Bill responds. He then reveals that the shoe belongs to Betty Ripsom, a girl who was missing.

“How do you think Betty feels? Running around in these tunnels with only one freaking shoe.” Richie laughs, but he just gets given a stern look from Bill and silence from the rest of you. You roll your eyes at his joke. ‘Typical Richie’, you thought.

Suddenly, there is a massive splash heard from behind you, Stanley and Eddie. This causes you to turn around. You see an overweight boy of your age, blood pouring from his stomach. He tries to get her but trips back into the shallow water. Richie and Bill rush next to you and stare at this boy.

“Holy crap, what happened to you!?” Richie yells, adjusting his glasses.
