It was a warm Saturday morning, on the coast of England. Your parents just bought and moved into a new house right on the water, private beach and all. You had to move away from all your friends and teachers, it's bad enough that your parents don't hang out with you at all. So most of the time, you were left alone to do what you want.

As you were exploring the grounds outside, you found yourself at a small dock. Probably for a kayak or small dingy boat. Could be a nice space to sit by the water and relax, right? Thinking to yourself that this was a good idea, you walked on.

You made your way onto the old and creaky dock, walking all the way to the end and sitting down on the edge with your feet hanging off. The waves were crashing against the support poles, and the shore a little bit back.

However, you soon heard something that wasn't the calming noises of the shore. More like a whistle, like someone was trying to get your attention. You turned your head around with confusion, hearing another small whistle. There was nobody around, what the hell was going on?

"Hello? Hello? Kid?" You heard an unfamiliar voice speak, which made you even panic a bit. Who was even speaking to you?! You looked around once more, before you saw something that made you freeze. A person's head peeking out of the water, but he didn't look like a person. He had brown eyes and brown hair, but these fins on his ears and scales on his cheeks. He probably made the noise.
